My name is Chris Nolf. I am a proud father of two young boys ages 8 and 5 and a 4 year old girl. I have been in the golf industry since 1991. My passion has always been in the maintenance of golf courses and for 14 years I learned and worked with one of the best in the industry my father, CGCS Ron Nolf at Vista Valley Country Club.
At Vista Valley, we had made the switch to the Baroness walking greens mower. Never before had I been so impressed with the performance and versatility of a mower. With the use of the de-thatchers we were able to get our thatch issue under control and the uniformity and quality of the cut was untouchable. Our mechanic absolutely loved the low maintenance and sharp edge the bed knifes maintained. Although, it was quite the paradigm shift for him to get used to NOT having to back lap a machine every other week.
When Norman Davis, President of Best Turf West contacted me I jumped at the chance to work with Baroness and switch to the sales side of the business. I was thrilled with the opportunity to represent and introduce other superintendents to such a fine piece of equipment.
